At the end of July, this year’s River Spring Open Air took place in the Black Forest. The festival is organized as a charity event, with proceeds donated to good causes. Musically and atmospherically, its aim was to bring a touch of Ibiza to Germany.
But, as often happens in Germany even in summer, the weather had its own plans. What started with just a cloudy sky soon turned into rain, and at times the site even had to be cleared due to a thunderstorm.
Still, the crowd refused to let the weather spoil their mood. Some kept dancing through the rain, while others waited patiently for the music to continue. In the evening, Jasmin Blust headlined the festival, delivering the right beats once the storm had passed and bringing the night to life again.
